Program Summary:

Okay, you got the business, now what? What did you really sign up for?

Attorneys Seth Drucker of Foster Swift, Collins & Smith and Jeff Lamb of Honigman Miller Schwartz & Cohn will help you to be proactive and prepare for the worst.

It's always exciting to land that piece of new business! However, in our excitement, it's important to look at the fine print in the contract, which can land us in hot water and make the business undesirable.

Be proactive and attend this informative meeting to learn how to navigate through these important issues:

  • Who is it that really owns that technology?
  • What happens when you lose the business during the contract period?
  • What can you do if the proposed validity of their forecasting turns out to be wrong?
  • How do you contest terms?
  •  What is negotiable and what is not negotiable?
  • What happens when raw materials prices change?

And finally, why is it important to partner with sound legal counsel which can protect you and keep the business?

Agenda:

5:00pm-6:00pm:  Registration & Networking
